Registry Office Style Weddings.....
not at the registry office

My name is Victoria Edwards

I have been a Marriage Celebrant for 8 years and conducted over 600 weddings and in that time I have seen so many changes to how couples want their ceremonies.

Because of this I created 'Adelaide Registry Style Weddings' for those looking for an alternative to the Adelaide Registry Office in town and you can then have your ceremony at the location and time of your choosing and not be restricted to their set hours and indoor office.

All you need is you two, two witnesses over the age of 18, a Celebrant and a small amount of legal wording to get you married so it really is that easy.

All weddings welcome because Love is Love.

If you are planning a full wedding, please visit my other page Victoria Edwards Marriage Celebrant or check out my socials.

It's so easy.......really

How does it all work....

01

Give 'One Month's Notice'

To legally get married in Australia you must submit a NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage) one month pior to the wedding date. So print that off, fill it in then get a JP, Police Officer, GP or Lawyer to witness you sign it and email me the signed paperwork and the day I receive that in my email, the 'One Months Notice' starts.

**If you are overseas it needs to be witnessed by a Notary Public**

03

Lock in time, date and Location

If you haven't already, you need to decide when and where the ceremony will be held and I can help with location suggestions.

02

Confirm your Identity

Prior to the wedding date you will need to confirm you are who you say you are, over the age of 18 and not married to anyone else. For ID, a passport is the easiest option but not everyone has one of those so alternatively a Birth Certificate AND Drivers Licence. There are a few other ID options if you don't have any of the above and if you have been married previously you need evidence of how the last marriage ended.

04

What package is best

Well that is up to you so have a think about who you would like to be there with you and get planning!

What people are saying

Registry Style @ Sferas

“We are very pleased with the service we received from Victoria, it was an extremely smooth process with great communication, we were made to feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process and Victoria was amazing on the day. Thank you so much for helping to make our day that much more special."

Registry Style @ Sferas

"Victoria conducted a great wedding ceremony. Everything went very smoothly, and the Sfera's Function Centre was very nice. It is situated in a parkland that is ideal for photos. We had lunch at the Paradiso Cafe (also at Sferas) after the wedding which was very nice at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a Registry Style Wedding that does not fall much short of a full on wedding at only slightly more than the cost of the Registry Office - then I highly recommend you contact Victoria and discuss the various options.

“Victoria's offering of a registry style ceremony was exactly what we were after. Short and sweet, but still with plenty of detail and time for us to include our own vows. She is incredibly lovely and an excellent speaker. She was really accommodating of what we wanted (and didn't want). Also, she is mostly paperless which gets a big tick from me! It was great to have Vic there on our special day.”
